The Global Cities Fund for Inclusive Pandemic Response Progress Report

18 December 2021

The Global Cities Fund (GCF) for Inclusive Pandemic Response is an initiative to respond to the unmet needs of cities as they support migrants, refugees, and internally displaced people (IDPs) during Covid-19.

The GCF provides direct financial and technical support over one year to cities from low-to-middle income countries to implement projects related to public health, livelihoods, and inclusive social services.

Through its inaugural five cities, the GCF is on track to collectively improve the lives of over 5,000 migrants, refugees, IDPs, and other marginalized city residents in Barranquilla, Colombia; Beirut, Lebanon; Freetown, Sierra Leone; Lima, Peru; and Mexico City, Mexico.
